Supporting farmers in Ghana to progress

For many years Koudijs has been supporting farmers in Ghana with high quality animal feed solutions. Together with our dealers and on the farm support we have brought performance and progress to our customers. In 2017 De Heus decided to develop a local production facility, which became fully operational in 2020 to meet the growing demand for high quality feed produced in Ghana. Koudijs Ghana is part of De Heus Animal Nutrition, an international producer of a complete range of compound feed, premixes, concentrates and feed specialties.

Koudijs Ghana delivers animal feed for farmers, integrators and dealers. Depending on their farming conditions and access to raw materials we support our customers to take best advantage of the opportunities in the market. Our different feeding solutions ensure the right choice and approach for each farmer. With our experienced team, backed by extensive nutritional and farming knowledge we strive to fulfill our promise for optimal feeding performance and profitable farming. Through an extensive dealer network we aim to serve our farmers throughout Ghana.

Our complete feed factory

In 2020 a local State-of-the-Art feed factory was opened in Ghana, producing complete layer, broiler and aqua feeds. Through the investment by the De Heus family we are better placed to serve the needs of our farmers through a complete range of high quality, locally produced animal feeds. The construction and launch of the production facility also positively impacts the economy with employment, improvement in livelihood, and knowledge sharing.

De Heus and Koudijs

Koudijs is part of De Heus Animal Nutrition, an international producer of a complete range of compound feed, premixes, concentrates and feed specialties. Koudijs was founded in 1920 in the Netherlands, started as a local company and expanded towards exporting feed concentrates into Africa and the Middle East in 1960. After acquisition by De Heus in 1998, further growth was established by delivering good quality premixes, concentrates and specialties in the market. With the decision to establish a full operation and invest in a complete feed production facility in Ghana, a next, important step was taken to be able to bring further progress.
